yOUR AGILE PROWESS starts here…

Become a Certified ScrumMaster®!

I was hesitant and skeptical regarding online training as I am a person that loves to be engaged and actively participate in the learning process. Kim did an amazing job at keeping us focused, made learning fun, and gave us plenty of opportunity to participate. The course was laid out really well and laid the foundation early and perfectly.

Why Get Certified?

The Certified ScrumMaster designation is one of the most demanded certifications by employers and recruiters and  is a globally recognized certification from Scrum Alliance. Whether you want to serve as a scrum master, are adopting scrum, or just need the skills to be more agile, the CSM course is the right place to start. You’ll gain a solid understanding of Scrum and learn practical ways to apply it to your team and throughout your organization.

Who should take this course?

Scrum has become widely adopted across software development teams, making the CSM a natural fit for ScrumMasters, project managers, engineers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals. But Scrum's reach extends well beyond software! It's found real application in manufacturing, education, sales, marketing, and more. If you're looking to embrace more agile, collaborative ways of working — whether you're new to Scrum or formalizing knowledge you've picked up on the job — the CSM is the right place to start.

What are the attendance requirements?

Full attendance on camera is required and participants must attend the entire class to qualify for certification.

How can i be successful in this virtual setting?

  • Have a pen & paper for taking notes.

  • Your computer MUST be a desktop or laptop with a good microphone and webcam. You will not be able to fully participate in class with a smartphone or tablet.

  • Zoom and Miro are the primary tools used during the online workshop. Kim will provide you with an overview of both at the beginning of class.

  • Miro will work best with Google Chrome. If you don't have it, install Chrome from: www.google.com/chrome

  • Please arrange to meet 10 minutes prior to the class start time by logging in to Zoom.

is there an exam?

Yes.  Don't stress though.  To date, 100% of Kim's students have passed the exam on the first try.  Here's some info about it:

  • 50 multiple choice questions (one right answer)

  • Timed: 60 minutes

  • Not proctored

  • You have 90 days after class ends to start the exam

  • You can bookmark questions and return to them later

  • You may not save your place and return to the exam later

  • The questions are randomly selected

  • You may refer to notes and other references

  • You may not ask a Scrum Alliance certified individual for help on the exam while you take it

  • You have 2 free attempts at taking the exam. After that you have 2 more chances, but you will need to pay a $25 fee to Scrum Alliance each time.
