Revealing the patterns that hold people, leaders, and teams back and the practices that move them forward.
“We don't lose credibility by addressing hard things. We lose it by avoiding them.”
With more than 30 years of experience helping individuals, teams, and organizations work more effectively, Kim has learned that real progress rarely stalls because of a lack of effort or talent. More often, it's the invisible patterns in how we think, lead, and work that quietly hold us back. Through engaging stories, practical frameworks, and actionable practices, Kim reveals these patterns and shares practical ways for audiences to move forward with greater clarity, intention, and impact.

KEYNOTE TALKS
THE Permission fLIP: How high performers stop waiting and start winning
Most people aren't held back by a lack of talent or opportunity. They're held back by friction. The self-doubt. The second-guessing. The need to feel ready. The quiet voice that whispers, "Who do you think you are?"
You don't need a permission slip. You need a Permission fLIP.
In this engaging, funny, and personal keynote, speaker and leadership consultant Kim Poremski introduces her four-part framework: the Permission fLIP. The f is intentionally lowercase. Because before we can make the fLIP, we have to name the friction.
That's when the fLIP begins.
Through unforgettable stories, relatable humor, and practical insights that can be applied immediately, Kim challenges audiences to stop waiting for permission and start choosing themselves.
Your audience will:
Recognize the friction that's keeping them stuck and distinguish between what's real and what's imagined.
Reevaluate past decisions, current opportunities, and the choices they've been postponing.
Identify patterns of approval-seeking, complacency, and perfectionism that may have gone unnamed.
Leave with a practical framework for choosing action instead of waiting for permission.

THE LEADERSHIP TRAP: GOOD INTENTIONS THAT HOLD SMART LEADERS BACK
Your new and mid-level managers are smart, motivated, and trying to do everything right. So why are their teams still struggling to deliver?
The answer is rarely ability or effort. It's the gap between what leaders intend to do and the impact those behaviors actually create. The most common leadership mistakes aren't made by careless leaders — they're made by well-intentioned ones who don't yet see how their actions are landing.
In this engaging and practical keynote, Kim Poremski reveals leadership traps that consistently hold capable managers back — patterns so common and so well-intentioned that most leaders don't recognize them until the damage is already done. Through humor, real-world stories, and a framework your leaders can apply immediately, Kim shows exactly what's driving each trap beneath the surface and gives every attendee simple and memorable techniques they can take back to their team on Monday.
Your audience will leave with:
A new lens for understanding the gap between their intentions and their team's experience
Recognition of common traps that derail well-intentioned leaders
Practical tools to course-correct quickly and lead with more clarity and impact
Best for: Aspiring, new, and mid-level managers; anyone responsible for leading people and building high-performing teams.
Available formats: Keynote · Breakout Session · Workshop
