Agile Prowess came into existence during a period when "agile" had lost favor among many. LinkedIn blog posts boldly declared the demise of agile, with major corporations shedding Scrum Masters and forsaking established agile frameworks like Scrum and SAFe in favor of makeshift alternatives, or regrettably reverting to what seemed like "waterfall" methodologies.
Instead of shying away from embracing agile in our name, we chose to embrace it even more fervently. We firmly reject the notion that agile is obsolete. Agile values and principles must be intrinsic to how we work and what we believe and frameworks like Scrum and SAFe will continue to play a crucial role in safeguarding the alignment of our beliefs and actions.
Prowess, as defined in the dictionary, signifies exceptional skill or ability, often coupled with courage. Meet kim poremski
Kim Poremski, Founder & President | CST®, SPC
Kim Poremski is the founder and president of Agile Prowess. Holding the credentials of Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer (CST®) and SAFe 6.0 Practice Consultant (SPC), Kim draws upon over 30 years of IT and product management experience, coupled with a dedicated 15+ years in the agile arena. She passionately imparts her knowledge by coaching individuals, teams, and leaders and by facilitating engaging and interactive workshops conducted both in-person and online, catering to diverse public and private sector audiences. Kim is a frequent speaker at regional and national Agile events and served as the conference emcee for both 2023 Global Scrum Gatherings in Portland, Oregon and Amsterdam.
